What color are your eyes?

I don't really care what color your eyes are. I'm not even sure you have eyes! But I'm curious to see whether replies in this topic will also need admin approval, which would indicate that there's something in the configuration of The Non-Baseball Forum that's causing it to happen. Posts in The Baseball Forum are going through without requiring this extra step. So please respond! Thank you!

Blue-gray. I didn't really notice how grayish my eyes were until ummL and ummR came out with slightly differently-shaded blue eyes. ummL has my grays. minimm, too, for the record.

Mine are blue! (In real life as well as on my avatar.) I think the issue we had with posts needing approval had to do with users being labeled as "Newly Registered". Once each of us has enough posts (I'm not sure of the count) we move out of that category and no longer need to have our posts approved. The setting was in place on the Non-Baseball Forum but not on the Baseball Forum. I think I fixed it, but I'm not really sure.

dark blue ring closest to the whites, and then gets very light blue color closer to the blacks (pupils)...with very large pupils...

I had an issue like that a few days ago on this forum where the thread at the top of the forum index was like more than half a year old. In fact, that whole index page was old. It wasnt as if the next thread was timely and only the top thread was outdated.

A few days ago, I got the "site not available" message. A few minutes later, the CPF was back. Maybe this thread was caught and delayed a space- time continuum or the flux capacitor went kerflooey again. Later

since this thread was created, we obtained crazy eyes Max Scherzer....my wife's sister has the same crazy eyes: Blue/Hazel on one eye, and brown on the other...she is also a freak...

I would assume that heterochromia (the two-colored eye thing) is a genetic oddity and therefore capable of being passed down through descendants. So you folks with relatives with that trait may want to keep an eye (or two) on future generations. My father had two-toned hair but so far there has been no familial repetition of it since and (as far as we know) no instances of it before him either even though there are cases where that same trait has shown up regularly in other family trees.

My hair is two- toned, grey and scalp, but I don' think that counts. My grandfather had black hair and a red moustache. But that combo hasn't shown up on any other member for the family since then. Facial hair and head hair are often different colors, at least to a degree (my beard had some red which made it darker than the blond on top) and is generally not a sign of a genetic oddity. Dad's otherwise dark hair, otoh, had a patch of pure white right up front and center that started showing up at around 8-9 years of age. His friends used to get a big kick out of asking my young self when my dark streak was going to appear.
