It was a pretty crazy year, indeed. I gained a daughter-in-law and a new job, both are wonderful! We're going to a hockey game. The local team has a traditional New Year's Eve game that starts at 6 so the kids can enjoy and the grown ups can do something after the game if they wish. It's a fun night!

A transformer blew out a few blocks from me at 11:30 and my neighborhood lost power, so we all celebrated the new year by candlelight. And power was back on at 12:05.

This was the first year that Fboy and Fgirl stayed up till midnight to watch the ball drop, only, there was so much rain at Times Square that they never showed it on camera, at least on NBC. Kind of a rip off for them.
