What was the first network TV show whose first episode aired in color? We're looking for the first network TV show whose entire run, from first episode to last, was in color.

Jeannie's first season was in black and white. And among TV shows that debuted in b&w and then transitioned to color, Jeannie was one of the last to do so.

I recalled that shortly after submitting my answer. I think ashrock has it.

First two seasons of the Flintstones were in black & white. I believe Bonanza was the first all-color series.

Interesting guess. When I set out to run this quiz, I quick-guessed to myself that Batman would be the answer. 1966 was the tipping point year for color TV shows. Every running b&w show would convert to color by that year. But Batman, I thought, had the advantage because it premiered in January of 1966 - in the middle of the 1965-66 season. So I thought Batman would have it over most of the other shows that would wait until the start of the 1966 season in September to go color. It was unlikely if not feasible for those other existing shows to transition to color in mid-season. Batman had the logistical advantage in that it debuted at the beginning of the year. But there were already some other all color episodes, including Bonanza and two weekly prime time cartoons from 1962 - The Flintstones and The Jetsons.

But the winning answer is a short lived TV show from 1954 starring Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy -- The Marriage. It only lasted six or seven episodes before it was cancelled. I never heard of it before I ran this quiz and I definitely never saw a rerun on TV in my lifetime.
