Underwhelming, but it fills a need. It also puts them at least a little bit above last year's payroll, I think (for what it's worth).



On the other hand, the $15M of AAV going to Wilson and Lowrie could have gotten us Andrew Miller or Zach Britton, without really hurting us in the infield.

Wouldn't call it underwhelming -- we needed a LHR and he's a decent one. Walks too many but also 10-12 K/9 over the last three seasons.

Been on four teams in seven seasons, but that's the life of a LH reliever and, at age 31, he isn't someone we'd expect to fall off a cliff.

Career splits actually better vs RHBs than LHBs so not confined just to LOOGY-ness
