The British Parliament rejects PM Teresa May's 'Brexit' plan by better than a 2-1 margin.

Lotsa hijinx to ensue.

No-confidence vote tomorrow. Time's running out for another Brexit vote, but that's the only way out of this mess.

Re: Brexiting Brexit?

So apparently the only thing more bureaucratically complicated than staying in the European Union is (br)extricating your way out of it as even some of her own party members/Brexit supporters voted against her plan. Presumably they're in favor of a different Brexit strategy but trying to get a majority of 600+ legislators to agree on the particulars of any plan has got to be a nightmare.

Don't govern by ballot initiative?

Re: Brexiting Brexit?

Honestly, no decision this big should be based on 52% of the vote. They should have required a 2/3's majority as a minimum.
