Realmuto to the Phillies

Per Ken Rosenthal. Jorge Alfaro and Sixto Sanchez going the other way. I've never heard of either. But I'm guessing they're not as good as Noah Syndergaard. (Which is not to say they're not good prospects. From what I'm reading it seems like a pretty fair trade and the Marlins got pretty good value.)

Jorge Alfaro is a young, Colombian catcher who has been up and down with Philadelphia since 2016 (we've seen him against the Mets), but he's still got some pretty solid future stock. Phillie got him in the great big trade that sent Cole Hamels to Texas.

Looks like we have a case of premature speculation. Miami said to be holding out for a third piece to add to the deal.

The final haul seems to be: Alfaro, plus pitchers Sixto Sanchez (R) and Will Stewart (L), plus 250K of Int'l bonus slot money. Stewart, 21, former 20th round draft pick, good year over 20 starts at Low-A in 2018 Sanchez, 20,Dominican, top 20-30 prospect [#13 BA, #27 MLB, #23 BP] in this winter's lists. Pitched 8 starts at High-A in 2018 at age 19

Definitely get the feeling the Phils are going to snag one of the two big guys. They've got money to spend and Realmuto doesn't affect that a bit.
