If You Come at the King, You Best Not Miss

National Enquirer tries to blackmail Jeff Bezos into having the Washington Post drop an investigation by threatening to publish revealing pictures of him and his new girlfriend.

Bezos responds by publishing EVERYTHING, including the blackmail e-mails the Enquirer was stupid enough to send. I'm guessing this will end with Bezos owning the Enquirer and shutting them down. Idiots.

Nice to be the richest guy around so you can do something like this, but it's still fascinating.

I'm on Team Bezollionaire here.

He isn;t sensible enough to not photograph his own junk but the Post is truly making America Great Again. Let's hope also this means an end to the Enquirer and another casualty of sucking up to Trump, and sure, Trump himself as you don;t need to be Bob Fucking Woodward to connect these dots.

There is no way-- no WAY-- that Pecker doesn't have something on Agent Orange.

This is just a completely facsinating story and it's YUGE, and I'm not talking about Bezo's bozack.

Bezos has now twice scooped the Enquirer, getting off his divorce announcement ahead of the 1st bombshell, now breaking his own scoop of how these fucks at AMI conduct "journalism" which is definitely a much bigger story than cleveage selfies.

Add to it the suspicion that it was Sanchez' own brother--a confidant of Stone and those fucking creeps, that did the hacking! Oh, and he's a big-time Hollywood agent or something. WTF?

This is going to make a hell of a movie someday

There's a lot of ways this could go, none of them good for the Enquirer. Bezos is known for not taking any prisoners and he and his lawyers will grind the Enquirer to dust even if the government doesn't get involved.

There seems to be a Saudi connection here, too, though it's not exactly clear what it is. Bezos is on a mission (through the Washington Post) to get the truth about the murder of Jamal Khashoggi. The Enquirer and their friends (Cough)Trump and Kushner (Cough) didn't like that. Lots more to come in this story.

I'm thinking, "If Bezos ends up owning The National Enquirer, so what? What good is that to a kazillionaire?

And then I thought, "Oh, but maybe he gets the key to the magic safe where decades of incriminating Trump shit is hidden."

Just resign, man. Move to Costa Rica and tweet your ass off.

The early favorite in next year's all purpose general category tabloid cover derby:

this looks like an A misdemeanor in NY (coercion in the 2nd degree) but i'm not really sure what the applicable jurisdiction is here.

Well, their cooperation agreement requires them to answer any and all questions. I'm guessing some questions will be asked and the Feds won't like their answers.
