I forgot about this! What is everybody hoping for? I'm rooting for him to do it.

I keep looking for Henry Rollins.

I'm rooting for him to do it too.

Since I was a kid, there have been three records I wanted to see broken (by non-Yankees):

Roger Maris' 61 homers.
Lou Gehrig's 2130 games.
Joe DiMaggio's 56-game streak.

I've seen two of the three fall. I only wish that Rollins didn't have that offseason in the middle of the streak. It leaves open the argument that he didn't really break the record. And it's an argument that has some merit.

And the all-time longest hitting streak is held by........

......Jimmy Rollins!!!

Doesn't sound right to me.

He's got a lot of work to do. 32% more, as a matter of fact.

He's 0-for-3 now but I'm done following him for the day.

Not looking so good. 0-4 in the bottom of the 7th. Might get one more shot if the Phillies can get some baserunners.
