...for worst reliever?

Does anybody else remember this? I know somebody had created it, I remember reading about it, I just can't remember where. Couldn't find it on this or the EZboard archives...

IIRC, the winners were:

98 - Rojas
99 - Kenny Rogers
00 - Rich Rodriguez
01 - Donnie Wall
02 - Satoru Komiyama

Kenny Rogers was a reliever?

It looks like he won the award for the year based on NLCS Game 6.

Ok, found it. Was from a comment on UMDB. Was actually awarded to Kane Davis in 2002.

The comment:
]An announcement from the Fraternity Of Met Fans (F.O.M.F):

We'd like to present Kane Davis with the annual, dishonorable Mel Rojas award for worst relief pitcher in a single season, 2002. Former receipients include:

Mel Rojas for 1998, Kenny Rogers 1999, Rich Rodriguez for the 2000 campaign, and Donne Wall in 2001. And now Kane Davis 2002, 97 MPH up to the plate, double that when it's on its way out of the ballpark (just ask Larry Walker).

Billy Taylor with his 8.10 era deserved it for '99, not Rogers.

I nominate Julio. Never too early.

Tom Martin and his 10.06 should own 2001.
