Two prayers

Name one thing you've prayed to happen and one thing you've prayed won't happen. I'll start with some pretty easy ones--I prayed for the Mets to completely dominate and humiliate the Yankees in the 2000 Series--maybe that asking for too much. Maybe my prayer would have been answered if I'd just asked for a victory. I prayed that the 1969 Mets wouldn't rebuild. I wanted them to keep adding rookies, and dominate the 1970s with a totally homegrown squad. Wrong again.
