You see them in movies. You've seen them in person. You've seen their music videos. And, you fanticize about having sex with them. You know, complete with a bathtub full of whipped cream and a live ostri,..., uh, never mind.

Anyhow, here is my all time top 10.(Based on when I first saw them)

10 Pat Benitar
9 Cheryl Crow
8 Suzanna Hoffs
7 Chrissie Hynde
6 Michelle Phillips
5 Cher
4 Faith Hill
3 Madonna
2 Shania Twain
1 Kylie Minogue

What's your list?

Is this based only on looks or looks + singing?

Kylie Minogue?

It'll take me some time to figure mine out but Linda Ronstadt has got to be on there (the Linda of the '70's dating Jerry Brown not the current kind of chubby one) and Faith Hill won't.

Based on my impression of their sexiness when they were in their "prime".

Only.
We don't need no steenking singing for this list.

Yeah, there were several other who just missed the cut. Linda was on that list, as were Martina McBride and, going back a ways, Doris Day and Jane Powell, Olivia Newton-John and Joan Jett.

As for Kylie, did you ever see her video of "I Can't Get You Out of My Head"? If you haven't, I guarantee that after you do, you won't be able to get her out of your head.

Chuck - while the women on your list sure can sing, I don't think there's anyone who would classify Ethel Lerman as "sexy".

It would be utterly impossible for me to come up with 10 female singers I like.

And I don't get the sexy = good singer equation at all.

But I like Carole King, Carly Simon, Cher, Roberta Flack, and Babs.

That wasn't, as I said, part of my equation.

But If I'd named the thread "Top 10 Female Singers I've Fantacized About" nobody probably would have cared. :)

Edgy -- Irma Thomas (who should have made my list) has.

Also Yolande Bavan.

Also Jeanne Lee, a great jazz singer and college classmate of mine, who died a few years ago.
