Thank you all so much :-) ok - this is how it's pronounced - you-bit-ool. It's a Romanian word - iubitul. It's the masculine version of the word for friend or beloved. So, if you were to say, "My Love", or "My friend", you would say "iubitul meu". The feminine version is "iubita mea"
