A mysterious woman arrives on Earth in 1994, warning of alien incursion. Nick Fury (a 25-years-younger Samuel L. Jackson) investigates her story. Action happens

Oh good, a comic book superhero movie!

It's must be multiple weeks since the last release of one of those.

I'm going to like (the more traditional story) Shazam movie better.

But she can do anything she likes to me to make me change my mind.

And I'll give her as much time as she wants to do it, too.

Color-by-number script missing more than a few numbers. I don't get how it escaped development so underwritten. Plus, the 90s references seem to have come from somebody that didn't really remember the 90s too well.

Also, there hasn't been a big movie that so shamelessly offered itself as a military recruitment tool since Top Gun.

Was kind of hard to figure out the plot and determine how she got those powers. One of those Marvel movies where there needs to be a title card reading "Don't think, just enjoy."

But the cat was cool.

I haven't seen it, but Brie Larson does like, nothing for me.

I gave it three stars. Mildly entertaining.

I liked it enough for 3 stars. It wasn't the worst of the lot, but wasn't the best, either.

We've been spoiled of late by the Black Panthers and the Ragnaroks, I think.

They're all going to be let downs after Gal Gadot

I think she's cute, in an approachable superheroic girl next door kind of way. Where as Gadot is just so stunning that it's overwhelming.

I liked the movie too. Goose should get a solo film in the MCU.
