This was a pretty amazing movie...no sophomore slump for Jordan Peele.

Completely on-point with the suspense/horror aspects-- right down to the audience-friendly flashes of dark humor in the midst of the gore. Intensely thought-provoking, and Taylor-made for post game parsing/discussion/annoying middlebrow thinkpieces. As you might have heard, Nyong'o is FAN-fucking tastic; half of the movie's profound fear (as opposed to the expertly-rigged jump scares scattered throughout) comes from her facial expressions and voice alone.



It feels a little-- a LITTLE-- not-fully-realized, like an incomplete thought. But yeah, it's good.

Pretty much agree with LWFS. Nyong'o is one of the great actresses of our time.

I prefer to see horror films in the comfort of my home. why?
