March 2 XIGT, HOU@NYM

Mets take a 6-5 lead on a grand slam to right center by Wilson Ramos.

And speaking of Wilsonism, Justin Wilson is NOT looking like the dark horse for the 2019 Mets. But this guy Whitley threw one pitch only for Houston and the Mets hit everything hard.

Edwin Díaz making his Mets debut.

Ramos follows up the salami by throwing out a baserunner.

Yup.

Diaz totally overthrowing, but ground it out and finished up with a K.

Houston's substitutes are slapping Drew Gagnon around the park, and it's now 8-6, Astros

Heard Noah on with Howie and Wayne after his start, and frankly, he came across like a dick.

What did he say or do?

I'm sure more than a couple of Mets are looking at Philly and SD going all in with

some serious investment in marquee FA's and wondering why for the love of Pete

second and third city market teams can do it and not the 'pon's.

He's really an awful interviewee, isn't he?

He tries to be Entertaining Man when shooting his own thing, but when subjected to an interview, he tends to totally big league the interviewer, who's got a job to do, typically offering as little grace as possible.

He's less pissy than Harvey, but he's got the same high hat.
