XIGT: NYM@MIA, 3/5

Jupiter Jason Vargas has kept the Jeters off the board through the first two innings. Unfortunately, the Mets too are scoreless.

Having gone 0-2 so far this afternoon, Brandon Nimmo is down to a .100 batting average this spring. FotF, my ass.

Keon Broxton made a nice catch and turned it into a DP to end the 2nd.

J.D. Davis knocks in Danny Espinosa and now the Mets lead 1-0.

With Espinosa and Echeverria, I think the Mets should bring in Asdrubal Cabrera, Freddy Galvis, and Erick Aybar so they can have all the division's 2016 shortstops in one camp.

Hey, the Marlins tied it up when I was pooing.

Speaking of pooing, the Mets have 5 errors today.

And the Nimmo batting average is down to .083.

Re: XIGT: NYM@MIA, 3/5

ST stats only matter when they're positive: Dom Smith's spring = a quite meaningful sign of things to come; Nimmo's = totally unimportant small sample

I thought we were all clear on this?

Positives from today: JD Davis had a hard single for an RBI; Luis Avilan looked great; Ali Sanchez threw out another runner at 2d.
