93-69, squeaking into a division win, eking out a Division Series win, barely scraping through the NLCS, then sweeping the World Series behind a shutout in Game 4 by Steven Fuckin' Matz.

78-84, obviously no post-season. Division is too strong and injuries will rear their ugly head again. Someone has to finish fourth and it'll be the Mets.

I'm unable at this time of year to go "on record" with my pessimism but will say I have some. I further don't get you guys who'd predict they make the playoffs but not go all the way when that last bit is such a crapshoot, why risk being wrong on that? 91-71, playoffs, world series, tickertape etc

91-71. division winners by 4 games. They win the World Series in 5, scoring two early off of Matt Harvey and Diaz striking out Shohei Ohtani to end it.

The Mets have 83 wins with 4 games left. I want to highlight these predictions (which included a no-playoffs pick): Benjamin Grimm: 85 wins. 3rd place. No post season. dgwphotography: 86-76, just miss the post season G-Fafif: 86-76. Third place. Not quite the playoffs. LWFS: 87-75. 3rd place, in Wild Card race until final week.

It all comes down to Sunday as the Mets have 85 wins. A Mets win and it's a tie-between G-Fafif and dgwphotography. A Mets loss and the crown goes to Benjamin Grimm (pending Edgy's review, per tradition): Benjamin Grimm: 85 wins. 3rd place. I don't know what the hell I knew, but I'm pretty sure I didn't know Alonso would hit 53 home runs, J.D. Davis would do anything or, necessarily, that Rosario would rise to his previous notices. It all evens out, I suppose -- but I don't know.
