Some 1969 Mets

From left to right: Swoboda, Kranepool, McAndrew (?), no idea, Shamsky (?), Harrelson, Jones, Dyer. For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, Cleon Jones looks the most grandfatherly.

Not sure, but some of the '69 team will be in the Norwalk store tomorrow (see my thread meet the mets, greet the mets). If you go there you could find out. (I'll be working and can't make it)

Anyhow, it's nice that Buddy is still able to make public appearances. He's certainly looked better, but still. Most of the others look hale and hardy. Swoboda looks exactly like a guy who has spent the last few decades in New Orleans.

Go figure. I can't see this pic on my PC, though I can see it on my smartphone. Now the big pic atop the Fate of SI thread, I can see on my PC but not on my smartphone.
