Out-of-work would-be wise-guy cousins pull a caper, hijinx ensue.

I never saw this movie till last week but turns out I'd known it's most famous line for 30 years. Lots of good NYC footage including inescapable twin-towers and lots of Summer Wind.

Well, was it good?

Re: The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984)

About two weeks ago, me and a friend had like a 10 or 15 minute conversation about this movie. I like that you started a thread about an "old" movie. I wish youse all would do this more often.

People at work have talked about this (and quoted it) often, but I've never seen it. Starting to think I will.

Saw this like a million years ago -- so long ago that Mickey Rourke was still thin, and recognizable, and not crazy (or at least less outwardly crazy).

I remember liking it at the time but can't say now that I remember enough to comment on it or give a rating.

Not sure I even remember what its 'most famous line' is.

They did an Eddie Bedbug number on him.

Never saw it. All I know about this movie is that they filmed one scene in a bar in my old Bronx neighborhood.

a lot of bad "method" acting.
