Three of the top 10 NL'ers in Adjusted OPS+ are Mets.

And Cory Bellinger is off to some start.

Re: TWIB Notes -- April 22-April 28

-- The BoSox, after sweeping a three-game series from the high-flying Rays last weekend celebrated their first good stretch of 2019 by getting swept in a Tuesday DH by the not-so-high-flying Tigers

-- Yadier Molina pulled off a straight steal of 3rd base on Tuesday.

No truth to the rumors that the pitcher, catcher, and manager of the opposing team (Brewers) have all since been not only fired but deported.

Excellent work. We would have also accepted:

To say that the fans in Toronto are a wee bit excited over the debut of Vladdy Jr would be a wee bit of an understatement.

The standing O he got for picking up a foul ball might have been the first clue.

A bit shorter but definitely a thicker build than the old man, he's listed at 6' 2"/250 (vs Sr.'s 6' 3"/235) which, considering he just turned 20 a few weeks ago is rather large.

The swing is not dissimilar, particularly the long follow-through finish. Sr is, of course, up in the box watching, looking a bit thicker himself these days with a bald spot up top

but otherwise looks great (hell, he's only 44 y/o at this point)

0-2 so far: bouncer to 1st and a liner caught at the wall in the LF corner. Wasn't going out but a very nice play to save a 2B
