Jeez, I missed this whole game -- totally oblivious to the gaydame thing. So did the announcers talk about 1-0 complete games where the winning pitcher drives in the only run with a homer?

I vaguely remember we once had a kwiz about Met pitchers who hit a homer and pitched a CG shutout, though not necessarily 1-0. Seaver did it once, I think.

I vaguely remember a doubleheader where that happened both games? Maybe one of them was Don Cardwell?
