Newsday reports Ed Kranepool has a donor lined up for his kidney procedure, scheduled to take place early next month at Stony Brook University Hospital. All goes well, knock your surface of choice, No. 7 will be lining up with his teammates at Citi Field in late June.

Is SNY doing live coverage of the surgery? If so, maybe they'll interview the Dr. while the operation is taking place the same way they conduct interviews while the game is ongoing.

More likely Gelbs interviews random ex-player or SNY sponsor during operation. Warren, after you finished up in North America, you had some success playing in Japan, as Eddie gets another stitch to make certain that kidney is secure. How would you say the game differed in the Far East versus what fans in the US and Canada are familiar with?
