No McNeil. No Conforto. And no Nimmo, who's not so hot this year anyways. Still, with deGrom pitching, the Mets'll probably score negative five runs tonight with that lineup facing Scherzer. . It'll be negative six runs until Alonso crushes a solo homer to make it negative five.

Scherzer doesn't need any help for most hitters but especially for Lagares yet he gets a call. I don't even know if Nido is a AAA hitter. What a waste. BVW did a great job with the catchers. The only way they were going to score that inning is if Frazier hit it a few feet further.

He's like that college with the small urban campus. He has a tight quad. deGrom may have to hit his way into the lead. Or maybe one of the other pitchers.

What a fantastic turn this game has taken. He earned that dinger, too, fought off a bunch of pitches before he got a hold of that last one. Kudos to him.
