Zend Zimmo to Zyracuse

Let's just do it. You can't strike out 40% of the time at this level and be successful. 3 weeks or until he figures it out. The Conforto Cure.

Carlos Gomez got off to a slow start at AAA but has since heated up. The reluctance you'd have is that it'd be hard to send GoMo back down but perhaps if Broxxy isn;t hitting by then you make that move.

We are having the same exact season as last year just not as intensely and with different problems and bright spots. Need to address the issues NOW!!!!

It's weird. I can't be more frustrated with his play. At the same time, I didn't agree with sending JD up to pinch-hit for him in the ninth.

It should be a no-brainer. Against a lefty flamethrower, you want a righty, who if nothing else, has a demonstrated propensity to get around on high heat.

In my head, though I tend to feel that Nimmo still has something of that table-setting ability. As bad as he has been (.194 BA! Bad!), I still think of him as the best bet to get on base. Even though his OBP is down to .320 and Davis' was higher. I was thinking that he could take one off the elbow, work out a walk, or bunt one down the third-base line.

But the idea that he can do all that just means that it's that much more important to get him right. If he's been your Wally Backman — the guy you want leading off in a one-run game in the ninth — and he's becoming the guy you pinch-hit for leading off in the ninth, he's no good to you like this.

Also, it'd give a chance for Smith or Davis to see some outfield time.

I find myself wondering when we call for a young player to be sent to Triple-A if what we seek is an improvement on his part or just a blow from having to watch him on our part.

I still think he's a better bet to be productive this week than either Lagares or Broxton.
