Yanx had a 'bullpen game' today, going through seven pitchers (none from their rotation) before finally securing a 7-6, 10-inning, 3:56 slog of a win. They jumped out to a 5-0/2nd inning lead but then blew that one and later a 6-5 edge before eventually making a loser out of Cleveland's Ollie Perez. Indians won the first two games of the series. Not sure whether Aroldis Chapman's 22 pitches today -- and blown save [Single, Error on Pick-off, Pop-up Bunt, Fly Out, E-6, K] -- will affect his availability for Monday's game. That today was only his 3rd game in the month of June (also on the 1st & 6th) means that, rather than counting on him being out, we'll just have to kick his butt instead.

Chapman threw 22 pitches in the 9th so hopefully he needs a rest tomorrow. Mickey has to decide if it's McNeil at 2B and JD Davis in LF or Hech at 2B and McNeil in CF.

Davis has been bad so probably Hech. It's a flip really, do you want Davis because he has more power and pop-flies go out, or does that get negated because it's a little league park and Hech's better bat skills probably pop over the fence anyway?

Good job by the MFYs not doing this earlier but you gotta get that parking dough. Both teams are off on Wednesday but there's another event (a graduation?) at NMFYS that day.
