IGT 8/17 Mets v. KC deGrominate Day

Metsies will have to cobble out an interesting lineup with yet another, J.D. Davis, likely out. Sizes up for Jacob to have limited support. I am hoping the Mets don't make Junis look as good as they did with Montgomery

Once again our opponents are bunching their hits (and their walks and their errors) while NYM bats are unbunching theirs. Starting with the Atlanta games, the Mets have out-hit their opponents 36-25 but have been out-scored 18-16 in the process. 13/52 w/RiSP along with hitting into 11 DPs in those 4-1/2 games hasn't helped.

Gotta cash in on this inning. Baserunners in the game: Mets = 10, KCR = 3 ... and yet the game is tied. Aside from the rule where we're not allowed to win Jacob deGrom games, there's no reason why this should continue.

Justine Ward needs to hustle out to right and interview some of those unbiased 7Line guys to see if it was fair or not.

I wouldn't have written it otherwise, yeah. How often does it really happen? Not much, but it's dangerous as hell. There are two dozen available pitchers on every roster. And if he's that wild he's not long for the game anyhow. I twice saw Tony LaRussa pull his pitcher and rip him to shreds for hitting a batter in the head. Once it was Piazza. Neither time was it intentional. But it's got to be
