Tough to make any noise when the last five outs we've made have come on like six pitches - which is especially difficult considering that there were two strikeouts in there.

So, yeah, down three, bottom nine. Barring an extremely unlikely confluence of circumstances beyond our direct control, a loss here would essentially kill the season.

Was at this game yesterday. Got free raincheck tickets after being at the rain shortened game against Cleveland. Straw caught one of the first pitches. Good to see him.
