Emergency IGT. Mets 1 Phillies 1 going to second. Ramos has hit in 24 straight. Matz pitches like he does in Philadelphia. Vargas is easy to root against. Take over, Seawolf, as you like.

Hoskins getting run brought the Philly bench down to three players, and then the double-switch during the pitching change notched it down to two ... and with four-plus innings still to go. The pitcher's batting slot leads off the 5th inning here (K is your result) but was Kapler really convinced that it's worth getting a second inning of what we just saw from Blake Parker?

The Phillies haven't been tearing up the band box, middle of the pack in home homers this season I think I heard today. Looking for more homers from Pete with the season he's had thus far seems kinda silly to me.
