.... yeah, I was wondering myself. Meanwhile, did you catch the interloper? It's not Gallagher. That's a mistake. I think.

Raffy's uni might not be right, but that was the best card I could find. Besides, the notation on the card identifies him as a Tribesman. Raffy's not an interloper. He simply lacks a good Indians card. And Kiner was given honorary status on these card threads a long while ago. Tim McCarver, too. And probably some others. Rube Walker. Mel Stottlemyre. But thank you for playing.

Yeah. I know. That grin looks like a Hannibal Lecter mouthguard. And Bartolo Colon looks like he could be a special guest villain on Batman on this card below. He's rockin' the evil villain's mustache and his hands are in a scheming pose.

Well okay then. You didn't look this guy up because you never woulda figured that the interloper is the guy that was involved in probably the most famous transaction between the Mets and the Indians. For all the fuss, Harry Chiti never played a single game for the Tribe. I guess the Indians were smarter.

Senator Warren appeared only on condition that she be provided with a headband and feather that matched the colors and pattern of her suit outfit.

I love Milton Berle as an Indian. It might be my favorite of the bunch. But it's vying with Mel Brooks's Indian chief from Blazing Saddles on the Stan Jefferson card. Tough call. Meanwhile, I see another Milton Berle baseball card appearance in the future, this time, on an as yet unreleased Batman card.
Thanks, but not really. I saved all the links from the last time I posted an Indians card thread the last time they played the Mets, I think three years ago. Now, making all of those "Giant Sized" Indians cards -- that definitely took a few hours. But I made those cards around when the Mets and Indians last played, again, about three years ago. So posting this thread this time around didn't take too long. P.S. I know how much you like Chief Wahoo. I do, too.

I think I figured out the Gallagher mystery. Or at least I have a theory. Occasionally, Check Out My Cards will screw up a link so that when you think you're linking to a particular player, another one'll come up. I used old links for this thread and one of them might have changed or gotten corrupted over the years. And so , voila Gallagher. If so, that means that there's an ex Met/Indian who was meant to appear in this thread but didn't.

Good catch. Well, I had a link, so I intended to show some card from COMC. Maybe it was this card.
