Can someone get a message to the top three hitters and suggest that maybe they NOT go 0-fer-10 with 4 Ks and leave a ton of runners on base today? Maybe CF can pass a note to Alonso's parents during breakfast at the hotel.

Can't the official score award the win to any reliever without adhering to some formula when the starter doesn't complete five innings? Yes, but they generally wuss up and award it to the pitcher in Brock's situation. They use some "briefly and effectively" standard in the official scorer's mind if the pitcher only throws one pitch. I hope that becomes a consideration in this game. Later
