I want extra innings all weekend, Mets.
Dallas Keuchel, the guy we ostensibly could have added, who's 8-7, 3.59, vs Marcus Stroman, the guy we did add, who's got a 3.86 ERA in ten starts as a Met.
Keuchel has faced us twice this year, pitched thirteen innings, and hasn't given up a run.
Stroman faced the Braves last month in Atlanta, pitched okay, got the W in that 10-8 game Gagnon tried to throw away.
Here's this morning Fun Stat, courtesy of me clicking around B-R: There are 76 pitchers that Rajai Davis has at least 13 plate appearances against in his career. He has at least one hit against all but one of them... Dallas Keuchel, with no hits (but two walks) in 22 PAs.
