Which NY mob* is aligned with Trump? Serious question. As a person nowhere near the east coast/NE, and totally naive as to who the ruling mobs are, I wonder which one is Trump's muscle? When you look to the west, how far do you see? I am way beyond that point, which is why I'm asking. *The wrong answer is the Corleone family. But for all the GOP house reps and senators to be so loose boweled, I have leapt to the conclusion that truly dangerous guys, similar to the guys played by Pesci and de Niro in Goodfellows, have parked in front of their houses and their kids's schools.

I think it's more true to say that President Trump has made deals with mafiosi than to say he's actually aligned with one. I think, to the extent he has dabbled, it's probably been with Philadelphia families, who tend to have more juice in Atlantic City But he's far too reckless to trust and fully expects every body to take the rap for him. If he was really in tight, he'd be whacked in 10 seconds. And, of course, he'd've been fully exposed during his campaign. That doesn't mean he doesn't like pretending to be. In fact, a lot of his muscle is/was/has been Italian-American.
