In retrospect, locking up deGrom was good. Counting on Cespedes was not smart. If only we could have known that in real time.

I'm only a tabloid fan during Tabloid Cover Derby. Un-fan of the rags, the non- sensical dumbing-down of sports they spew and most (if not all) columnists in their dwindling employ. Don't get me started on Twitter, my head might explode!

I have shunned that service from the beginning, likely for all the same reasons that make your head explode.

I tried to have a FB account two different times, mostly to appease a friend who hates to email but puts every thing, relevant or not, on FB. I quit both times and followed up with a scalding shower both times. I won't get sucked into that morass again. If you can't email me, I can't read about you on FB.
