Yeah could be a great series, the Nationals lost today in extra innings to the Astros.......

Nice job *62.

It's interesting to see Robinson say get burned by policies he supposedly helped put in place.

Felix Hernandez got hit w/a 3 game suspension for his part in the beanball war last week. I don't know if he's serving it now or appealing. If he's serving it right away that further dampens the Nats pen. Today's extra-inning game against Houston didn't help either.

According to what I read today, Robby served his quickly to get it out of the way, but pretty much told Hernandez to appeal in order to get the penalty reduced --- which happens seemingly 80-90% o fthe time. Robby's no dummy there, but it would seem wiser to claim to be appealing on sone actual grounds, rather than simply because virtually all sentences get cut on appeal.

Should be a wild series in our nation's capital. Probably a good time to try out some body armor.

]And don't be surprised if it's Carlos Delgado who takes Ortiz deep. The home run the Mets cleanup hitter crushed against Ortiz on Thursday night at Shea was the fifth he has hit in just 30 career at-bats against the Nationals starter. Delgado also has four doubles, three singles and six walks against Ortiz.

LoDuca's probably getting Thursday off. Saturday's scheduled lineup looked like this:

Reyes
Woodward
Beltran
Delgado
Wright
Nady
Castro
Diaz

What should Willie do tomorrow?

Has Castro played at all yet?

Not yet. He's the most forgotten Met. Zambrano is the only other player on the roster who has yet to appear.
