This is the worst service I have ever had.

The ^#&#^%ing service doesn't work. I am supposed to be able to share files and folders with others, but none of them get shared properly. Everyone in my workgroup has different files, different folders. It's a disaster. So I try to get help. They have an e-mail help desk that promises help in 3 hours "or less." I e-mailed them three days ago, have not heard back yet. So I call their number. One of the choices on the automated response is technical support, so I select that. I get someone who says they can't give me any technical support, that all comes from the email. Is there any way I can find out what happened to my email? Well, no.

OK, who do I talk to cancel my account? Well, the guy says, I can talk to him. He apparently is billing, not tech support. OK, I want to cancel my account and I want my money back, because I have gotten not one iota of satisfaction from this service. Well, he'll put in that request. How will I know if the request has been satisfied, what the disposition of it is? Well, there's no way.

So I ask to talk to his superior. So the superior comes on -- sounds like the same guy -- and I don't mean Indian accent, both voices (if there were two voices) are midwestern American. I tell him the same story, and he tells me he sympathizes, that he gets a lot of calls like this one, but there's nothing he can do because they aren't XDrive, just a subcontractor billing company. Do they have any way of contacting XDrive? Well, actually, no, they don't.

Anyone else have anything like this happen to them? Is there another cyberspace hard drive company anyone can recommend?

Now that it's too late, I'm reading a lot of horror stories about them.

I had an XDrive account for a while and never had much trouble with it... perhaps because I only used it about once a year or so.

I don't remember canceling the account to be a big problem either although I'm sure I had to hunt around a bit for the procedure. I didn't have to talk to anyone or anything. Of course, I wasn't trying to get any money back either... that likely would have made it a lot tougher.

Other than that, all I can say is good luck.

Canceling was not a problem...but I want my money back. I'm going to go through my credit card company.
