Hay soupcan, did you go see the Mets in California?

Unfortunately not. We were in San Diego the week before the Amazin's came to town, then spent a few days in the desert and finished up in Disneyland.

Did they happen to mention why they call it Petco? Does it have something to do with pets?

Yes, it is a nice place. We spent MK's 8th birthday there. When Customer Service found out that it was his birthday, they gave him a shirt and a couple of other nice items. Only an 8-year-old could get away with wearing that hat <g> And check out the warning track - they let dogs attend the game that day, and they let the owners walk them around the field prior to the game.

I hope he left that hat there

It was actually a hat that we brought along from home for the occasion. It's still in our basement somewhere, probably not to be used again until the time in the distant future when we become grandparents.
