I'd be open to this. I mean, taking on a heavily-used reliever and an onerous veteran contract, while paying full trade value for the former... how could this go wrong? Also, I, too, kinda hate gay people, think white power is 👊, and love non-apology-apologies. [Kicking the tires on Lorenzo Cain after a down year? Now, THAT'S something I could get behind.]
