Jacob deGrom has led the Mets in single-season WAR four of the last five seasons. Through Tom Seaver's first 10 full seasons as a Met, 1967-1976, (Arcane trivia: Seaver's Mets full season streak ended in '77 when he was traded in mid-season to the Reds) only one other Met has led the Mets in single-season WAR besides Seaver.
