Tuesday Night Mets: 2020

The Tuesday Night Mets Club will be back in 2020.

There are 11 Tuesday home games this year but we will be attending just 9 of them: skipping the earliest one in April and found the MFY tickets just too expensive. Our strategy is to win tickets to that one in a radio contest.

Making up for that, the TNMC will hold a special Thursday Night edition two days after that Yankee game.

That unfortunately makes it 3 games vs. the Marlins. We get no Phils or Nats, but will see the Giants, Cards, Dbaggs, Rockies, Reds, Braves and Astros.

Right now, there's a promo online for a la carte ticket buyers where you get a $10-per-ticket discount on each game you add to your cart; only it's rigged so that the availability progressively narrows to the more expensive seats (and the MFY game wasn't eligible). After 5 games the Promenade completely vanishes for example; but in the end small compromises on $$, good variety of locales. The most expensive seat we bought was $39.

If you're doing the same the TNMC advises selecting tickets in reverse order of the importance of good seats.

The related GTrain Army is looking into their annual road trip in Oakland this year but more likely they will do something less elaborate like Washington or Philly this year.

with a solo bedtime for 3 and 5/6 less troublesome, i might try to sneak out to a week game this year.

or hell, 5/6 is old enough to stay awake until a full baseball game completely bores her and falls asleep in the car ride home.

Re: Tuesday Night Mets: 2020

The Tuesday Night Mets Club this morning exchanged credit for unattended 2020 games and wound up with 11 Tuesdays (out of 13 total)

Find us April 27 (red sox); May 11 (Orioles); May 25 (Rockies); June 15 (Cubs); June 22 (Braves); July 6 (Brewers); Aug. 10 (Nationals); Aug 24 (Giants); Aug 31 (Marlins); Sept 14 (Cardinals); Sept 28 (Marlins).

Entire exchange from last season basically comes out in the wash. 2 more games this year but prolly worse overall seats, plus service changes, made it a $41 purchase
