So, did Beltran end up in the calendar? On the season tickets? In the media guide and yearbooks? Do they have to tear down a bunch of banners in the concourses, causeways, and rotundae of Citi Field and First Data Field? Did they print up a bunch of Beltran-15 shirseys that are being shipped to Malawi as we speak? And before you answer, Fman, this is a riveting topic.

Hopefully they were more focused on marketing Jake and Pete, but I suspect the designers did some scrambling.

Obviously I don't know what was originally planned, but clearly no Beltran related SGAs are on the promotional schedule right now.

It would be funny if there are some pallets of 25,000 Beltran bobbles sitting around in storage somewhere.

I wonder if the sponsors pay outright for stuff like bobble advertising or if they just pay some kind of subsidized fee.

They should have Beltran garbage cans that the fans could bang before every pitch. That, or, on kids day, maybe some negligbly charged chest wiring systems. Shock your friends, guess the pitches!
