And none of you still have not made the effort to announce who you think I am, why that's so "harrabull," and why your mission seems to be to make me feel like the proverbial FNG after nearly a year here. After reading this board for several years, the grass definitely is not greener inside the fence. Why is that?

As for experimenting, kcmet, as you put it in the post to me that made me vacate a while, I think you continue to overreact. If you have targets on your back, consider that you may have taped them there yourself.

Thank you, Edgy. All I did after reading the forums - those available without a login - for a couple years, was to pass the test for entry into the new forum location. The responses from several members were to question why I had a new ID or allusions to that they knew who I "really" am. You are correct - I am myself: first-time member, long-time reader.

Also, I beg your pardon for using the crude word for feces but sometimes being blunt is more to the point. There is a well-worn reason for why I usually try to keep my language billboard-printable.

You commented to a clip I posted (I think it was) with what you later told me was some song lyric you presumed I knew but it made no sense to me. Still, instead of being associated with some nasty person who seems not to be missed, it would be more gracious to treat me as a genuine FNG and cut me some slack for not knowing all the personal history webs and long-ago grievances. I'm just a guy who likes sports-based chat boards and am not a fan of any particular team. Yeah, I realize it's a blasphemy not to bleed some team's colors and go all emotional over the W/L column, but that's what happens when you move a lot, work in remote places a lot, and never develop the need to bond to a professional sports team. I truly don't care in the least who wins games or championships. I just like to watch.

I left a while for a specific reason. I have decided I still like to comment and post a link now and then. Just shoot me for having a mind capable of change.

Thank you, Willets Point. We've never met and likely won't. I've never met anyone here but, as the story goes, I read these forums for several years before it was moved and "open enrollment" started. So I've read yours and everyone else's comments for quite some time. Apparently I write oddly and am often misunderstood. I blame that on a secretary I had long ago who taught me all I know about writing. Since I'm blaming her behind her back, she cannot retaliate.

I don't have much to say about baseball, having said all I had to say long ago but will sit down and watch baseball whenever a game is going on. Lately, I have taken to watching vintage baseball games, which are really a lot more fun than you'd think. As for #1 songs, I'm totally off that grid.
