2020 Vision: Stephen Gonsalves

This guy could get some love in the Dark Horse thread, 6-5 lefty starter, very good WHIP and K figures in the minors but slowed by a couple injuries and the requisite welcome to the bigs beatings, now exploring a change of scenery. I see this fella leading Syracuse in whiffs and wins before a mideason callup precipated by a spate of rain make-ups and doing OK enough to eventually consider setting Matz free.

Gets 10 starts due to various reasons and goes 4-3 with an ERA 12.594% better than the National League average.

Strange that he got busted down in the first round of cuts. 1-3, 5.51. Hits a double off the very top of the fence against Clayton Kershaw, on an afternoon when none of the actual Mets hitters can touch the guy. National television will have it.

I can't even figure the rosters out. By my count, they have 43 guys on the 40-man roster, but only 14 guys in the 20-man available extra players pool.
