I played two seasons back in the day. Enjoyed it but found it time consuming. I was trying to finish off a game with a big lead one night and fell asleep, and woke up having intentionally walked six or seven in a row. Still woke up and won that one though.
I started out with the Mets in Terry's first season and I ended up winning 108 games in year two. I figured I had established my genius and I put it aside. I'm pretty sure Seawolf plays it religiously, and is currently up to like 2048 with the Mets and has won a dozen championships or so, getting 300 wins out of Yusmeiro Petit. Put I think he just GMs his teams. I tried to GM and field manage them at the same time.
I like the idea, but everything is seeming cost-prohibitive right now. I need to either sell a manuscript or put the KISS dolls on ebay.
