I watched this whole broadcast at home as it happened. I was never so jazzed about the start of a season as I was in '84. For a few months I kept up cumulative stats on a pad on my desk, was completely gay for Strawberry, Darling and Terrell.
PS-- Dickie Thon was beaned by Torrez in this same series, I believe the next day
