Working in the Time of Coronavirus

We've covered the beard and the food, but do you dress differently when working from home?

I dress the same way I would when I go to work because it puts me in the proper frame of mind. Business casual, but no sweats and certainly not in pajamas.

Re: Working in the Time of Coronavirus

Today (because I had a physical therapy appointment this morning) is only the second time I've worn real pants since March 12. It's just sweatpants for me. I've been working from home three days a week since 2005, so I have the routine pretty much down.

I only own 1 pair of sweatpants plus a 2nd pair of basketball pants with defeated eastic waistband and a split crotch I'm wearing NOW.

I get gussied up as needed to do "live" stuff.

I rescued my big monitor from the wework site and set up in the current office/ soon to be kitchen, then go upstairs and work in the current kitchen when the Lunchpail takes over the room to play video games. Used to the grind by now, Wifey Bucket and I irritate one another working in the same room, so we try to split that up. Also I have many calls and meetings

Re: Working in the Time of Coronavirus

This being in my computer room hours on end is not new to me. I do some outsourced

computer/accounting work and have for years. I try for the most part to shower early,

put on some real clothes and limit TV to business-type news when 'working.'
