Minors Go Missing

The affiliated minor leagues say they will not play in 2020. Also, the Ducks won't be quacking on Long Island (some indie teams were trying to work out a schedule).

Was pretty unavoidable. Everything is so dysfunctional. How can we expect an exploitative enterprise like minor league baseball to run responsibly?

Yes, this was inevitable. I really doubt that minor league games bring in enough TV money to justify playing in empty ballparks.
