Howard Bryant published an incredibly enlightening article centered on Bruce Maxwell, the A's catcher who followed Colin Kaepernick's lead, only to have no other baseball player follow him. The article delves further into the challenges Black ballplayers face in speaking out.

Not saying it to brag or nothing, but I've been kneeling during the anthem for a while now, and nobody at Camden has given me shit. If you ever get another chance to attend a ballgame, I encourage you to give it a try, and maybe give some cover to the player torn between his conscience and his job.

I stand, remove my cap and glaze forward hoping they don't get carried away

Improvising or botch the lyrics.

The whole song and tradition is kind of outdated, hard to think if they just didn't

do it anymore people who care would forget about it in a year.

The anthem is a good few minutes to be quiet and girl watch.
