Re: Random Rankings of 2020

Ahh yes, a revival of the IREDs. The Isaacs Ratings (Rankings?) of Esoteric Distinction were a creation of the late Newdsay columnist Stan Isaacs who would run a column once a year listing his rankings on various

topics generally involving matters of no importance whatsoever, which is of course what made them good. His only repeating category each year was his ratings of chocolate ice creams.

As to this leadoff list specifically, that you are familiar with all those characters is either very impressive or very sad.

On the currently top rated TV show around the world, NCIS, Michael Weatherly as Tony DiNozzo. (His episodes are still in re-runs in the US)

Re: Random Rankings of 2020

I never saw Dear John, but I know who Jere Burns is (Win Duffy on Justified, among many many other roles) and he doesn't seem very Italian. Nor does the name "Kirk Morris".

I was trying to think of someone you missed. It took a while, but I came up with Jared Leto as Jordan Catalano on My So-Called Life.

Tony (Robert Blake) Baretta was very Italian.

So was Frank (Vincent Gardenia) Lorenzo from All in the Family. But no so Italian-Stallionish.

Mets memorabilia. I have this button, somewhere. The button has a white background with red and green lettering, the colors of the Italian flag. The button below looks orangeish, though, in this photo.
