I was curious before about whether I remembered correctly that Jessica left and found tonight we get Karl Ravech, Eduardo Perez and Tim Kurkjian.

Mr. Rod announced a week or two ago that he has withdrawn himself from broadcasting any games involving the Mets while the bidding/buying process is still ongoing.

It's always a point of pride to stick with a blowout until the bitter end, but man, it felt like the park was empty in the last few innings tonight. I know that once upon a time, something good must've happened to the Mets during a regular season Sunday night game broadcast on ESPN. Probably more than once. But it feels like no, never has any such thing occurred.

Beyond a "normal" greatness from deGrom and an admirable effort from Matz we know we can't get every time, we have been simply uncompetitive in all 5 games I've seen so far, and "on pace" for my predicted 20-40 finish!
