The lineup I see on Twitter has P.U. DHing and batting 6th, Rosario 8th, and Vincenzo Nido catching and batting 9th.

I like Peterson's slider. It's not the nastiest thing, but he finds the plate with it. It'll be interesting to see if he can get lefties to chase it. It probably isn't hard enough to look like a fastball.

I feel like Gelbs should be giving up the analysis duty today and should be working the Céspedes story. Hopefully Eamon McAnaney and Maria Marino are on the case.

Tough to find a more incompetent stretch of RiSP hitting in like ... oh maybe the history of the planet. Every inning there are multiple runners on and we've yet to not only get a runner in but yet to get a ball out of the infield. We're up to something like 1 of the last 17 w/RiSP and even that one hit didn't knock in a run. Someone would have to do some digging to find the actual last hit to score a run. And now here are the braves getting runs in with weak grounders and walks.

Mets have had 11 baserunners, Braves have had six. Mets have had the leadoff runner on in four of the six innings, the Braves have had their top guy on in one ... and yet we've never been in the game.

And what a fitting way to end the game: get multiple runners on w/no outs ... and then follow that with a 3-pitch K, a weak-ass pop fly, and an even weaker-ass groundout. The runners not only didn't score, they didn't even budge. And tomorrow is a deGrom game so we've got no fucking chance there.

Only in the 13 LOB first game of May 12, 1963, did they previously put 15 runners on base via hit or walk w/o an error and not score in a nine-inning game. (They won the nightcap 13-12). On 4/24/1999, they were shut out with 8 H, 6 BB, 1 HBP; 12 LOB.

Well, Chili Davis isn't even with the the team, because he's been self-quarantining. The Mets look underprepared, but I don't think coaches are going to be busted after 10 games. And yeah, Alonso looked very goaty all afternoon.
